Kimball County General Assistance
The General Assistance program is a program of last resort. Other agencies must be contacted first to establish eligibility. Sometimes General Assistance works with PCS, HHS, and other agencies to give shared assistance.

Kind of Assistance
Assistance may be provided with rent, utility bills, prescriptions, medical bills, and some emergency needs (sundries or fuel for car). No deposits for rent, utilities, or reconnect charges are allowed.
Medical Relief
Medical Relief is provides if the case shows that it was a life trauma situation or lack of medication (statement form a Doctor). A person also must meet income guidelines (starting from $446 for Medical Relief per month for an individual).
Deceased persons, control of remains, interment, and liability. The right to control the disposition of the remains of a deceased person unless other directions have been given by the decedent, vest in the following persons in the order named:
