Commissioner’s Meetings |
Commissioners meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month.
The County Clerk is in charge of the agenda, minutes and attending all Commissioner’s and Board of Equalization meetings.
To get ready for a Commissioner’s meeting, the Clerk must prepare an agenda for the meeting. This agenda is available 24 hours before the meeting.
The duties of the Clerk’s office will prepare documents, mail, payroll, and claims for the Commissioners to review at their meeting.
The County Clerk or Deputy Clerk will attend the meeting and take the minutes. After the meeting the Clerk will type the minutes for the Board to approve at the next meeting. The minutes of each meeting appear in the Western Nebraska Observer. A signed copy is kept in permanent record in the County Clerk’s Office.
